Canada
The thing about new places is that there is always a factor of the unknown - to me that is the best part. A few days ago, Katie told me that she was off of work for a few days, and she wanted to go somewhere cool. We had a few options of where to go... New Orleans, Michigan, & Indiana. Somehow, we decided on Ontario.
We don't ever really know how we end up deciding on where to go, but we have a fun time doing it We left around 9 with our iced coffee in hand and set off for our 7 hour car ride. We always fill our time with hours of music and conversation - yesterday was no different. Neither of us had been to Canada before and the only differences we found were the metric system and the price of Arby's. We kept laughing whenever we would see the distance from one place to another in kilometers, because it meant absolutely nothing to us. So far, the food has been good. We really liked the nachos at Pier 61 bar and grill. The bar with the kilts had really good drinks. The place next door had good ice cream. Today we woke up and went to Rozie's for breakfast - with a wonderful selection of good breakfasts and friendly service. Right now we are sitting in Balzac's Coffee Roasters (please don't laugh) and we are about to leave for Niagara falls and then onward to home. That is all I got for my first travel blog post. Hopefully I get better at this. Here are a few pictures from our trip so far.
